Nancy is an advanced practice nurse and former chief executive officer experienced in all aspects of leading and managing health care organizations for growth. She brings leadership skills, clinical acumen, financial savvy and strategic planning expertise to all her engagements. She is a subject matter expert on home health, hospice, palliative care, geriatrics, and nursing. Nancy frequently works on a long-term basis to provide mentoring and leadership development for new executives.

Nancy has led multiple acquisition teams, performing due diligence while successfully positioning restructured organizations for future growth. Nancy is also well-versed in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements. Using her expertise in evidence-based clinical programs, she has served as a member for an ACO Steering Committee representing complex care management.

In 2012, Nancy was chosen as a member of the inaugural group of Innovation Advisors for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Subsequently, Nancy was one of 10 national health care leaders chosen to participate in the Project Change Leaders Program funded by the Atlantic Philanthropies and the John A. Hartford Foundation, both of which are committed to achieving transformative improvements in care for older adults. In 2014, Roberts received a Hartford Foundation Change AGEnts Action Award to continue the work of developing and implementing an innovative care transitions program. In 2016, Nancy was appointed Senior Aging and Policy Leader for the John A. Hartford Foundation-sponsored Project Change Leaders Program. Nancy has provided testimony to the US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Technology and at field hearings sponsored by Senator Jack Reed.

Nancy’s extensive operational and executive experience has translated to a successful consulting career. Since 2016, she has worked with clients to develop and implement growth strategies, achieve operational efficiencies, improve clinical quality, and strengthen fiscal performance.
