K. Jeanne Dennis, MSW
Jeanne Dennis is a leader and consultant whose professional commitment to hospice, palliative care and home health spans forty years. Jeanne is known for creating trusted relationships with colleagues, health care providers and clients to advance strategic initiatives and manage change. She is skilled in operational assessment, team building and staff engagement. She brings value to clients as an effective collaborator, facilitator, communicator, and speaker.
During her tenure as Senior Vice President of VNSNY Hospice and Palliative Care the program grew to become the largest hospice provider in New York State. She and her team accomplished a financial turnaround from a $3M loss to a $6M profit while implementing a new model of service delivery. Other milestones include opening a 6-bed Hospice Residence and a 25 bed In-Patient Unit, developing a community based palliative care program with a Medicare Advantage plan, and completion of a hospice acquisition.
Jeanne has served on the board of NHPCO, as President of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State, President of California Hospice and Palliative Care Association, and was a member of the National Hospice Work Group.
